Russian Foreign Ministry criticized McFaul said that through his twitter account to say, the actions taken by Russia is far more humane than what the U.S. against the demonstrators in protests occupy Wall Street. In addition Russia also issued criticism of the U.S. associated with global capitalism.
"The actions of security forces in Pushkin Square is more humane than what we saw in the Wall Street occupy a wave of protests and demonstrations in Europe," Russian Foreign Ministry wrote in a Twitter account as dikutup Reuters on Thursday (08/03/2012).
McFaul reported previously U.S. ambassador expressed his concern related to the detention of hundreds of protesters who were holding a protest following the rejection of the presidential election results.
"It's very annoying when we have witnessed the detention of the protesters who were peaceful protest in Pushkin Square. Freedom of assembly and speech are universal values," writes Ambassador McFaul in his twitter account.
U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul previously also had been criticized by the Russian government-related meetings with a number of Russian opposition leaders, not long after he was placed on the State's Red Bear
